Happy New Year from YOM!

Founder and Owner of Yoga on Main I am simply here to share my passion for yoga with others. I first stumbled into a power yoga class about 20 years ago as a way to compliment my marathon training and have been hooked ever since. I have fallen in love with the transformative benefits that comes with such a physically demanding practice.
I completed my first power yoga training with Amazing Yoga. I then went on to deepen my own personal practice and enhance my knowledge by completing South Hills Power Yoga Teacher Training. I am a certified Baptiste Power Yoga instructor with several trainings from the Baptiste Institute and have completed 500 hours of professional yoga teacher training
When I’m not on my mat I am a proud mama to my daughters Adalynn and Teagan. I am both humbled and honored to be able to share this beautiful and life changing practice with you.

I have always been active, but it was not until a few years ago that I discovered power yoga when I took a beginner class at Yoga on Main and have been hooked ever since! Initially, I viewed yoga as a way to maintain and improve my physical health, not realizing the sense of peace and balance it would provide for me as I transitioned from “Soccer Mom” to “Empty Nest”.
I am both humbled and blessed to be joining the amazing staff at Yoga on Main. I completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Alliance Certification with Yoga Flow Pittsburgh. My intention is to inspire my students to breathe in the present moment; to encourage and promote core strength for health and longevity, and to challenge students in a way that promotes self-growth,love, and daily gratitude.
When not on my mat, I am a Reading Specialist at a local elementary school. In my free time, I can be found spending time with family, my husband Greg, my daughters Abby and Kate, and my two Cavachon pups.
It is with gratitude that I accepted a teaching position at the place I have been rolling out my mat for the past three years. I will continue to learn and grow alongside my Yoga on Main community.
Hi, I'm Laura! I recently completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training and hold certifications in Power, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. My classes combine creative sequencing and mindful movement to help students build strength, find balance, and deepen their practice on and off the mat. Passionate about fitness, I coach gymnastics, train and compete in Olympic Weightlifting, and love bringing that same energy into yoga. Outside of fitness, I’m inspired by travel and adventure, and I treasure time at home with my husband, our three pups, and two cats.

Hi, I'm Marissa! I am a 500-hour E-RYT and obtained my certifications through Yoga Flow and Yoga Farm Ithaca. I have been teaching various styles of yoga since 2016 including power, sculpt, TRX, slow flow, yin, and restorative yoga. I started yoga while cross-training in college and instantly noticed the sense of inner peace and balance it brought me. In my classes, students can expect creative sequences, linking breath with movement, and mindfulness. Of the mat, I work as an environmental scientist in the toxicology department. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, taking care of my fur babies, and doing anything outside!

I achieved my 200hr power yoga flow certification through Salt Power Yoga in 2017 and
LYB Teacher Training for Health Professionals in 2019 to integrate yoga-based tools for traumatic brain injury patients in the healthcare system as well as the studio. Yoga has taught me so many lessons on and off the mat. It has given me a safe haven to just breathe while feeling the support of others. “Yoga is a dance between control and surrender-between pushing and letting go “–Joel Kramer. Off the mat I work full time as a Physical Therapist Assistant at a school with students who have multiple disabilities and visual impairments, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, drinking wine and hanging with my family and 3 crazy fur-babies.

Hi! I’m Adrienne and I am so excited to share the practice of yoga with you. I was introduced to yoga by a friend after experiencing extreme muscle tightness from running and I haven’t looked back since! My practice developed little by little over the years, but once I experienced heated vinyasa at Yoga On Main — it exploded from an interest to a PASSION. I realized very quickly that something that started as “just a workout” had become so much more. It has granted me a greater sense of balance in my life and an increased ability to better manage my stress outside of the corners of my mat. The experience has led me to a place where I felt the desire to complete my RYT 200 through My Vinyasa Practice so I may be able to relay the many beauties of this practice to others.
Outside of yoga, I enjoy traveling with my husband, music, hiking, biking, hanging with my two dogs and two cats, cooking, and spending time with family. Welcome and Namaste, Yogis!

My classes ‘increase inner & outer strength, flow, flexibility, centering, and vitality.’ She teaches all levels of yoga and a variety of class types. Betsy has been practicing Vinyasa Flow, Kundalini, Tibetan rite, and meditation for decades. With 10 years experience and NETA Certified Yoga Instructor, five years experience in Gymnastic Instruction and One year instruction in Dance. Betsy George is a business owner, a professional creative artist and former competitive gymnast.

My classes focus on slowing down to center yourself. I give extra time for sequences of creative floor stretching with a range of cues so you can choose from gentle to deep intensity. This is my blend from almost two decades of practicing Vinyasa and strength training. My true passion is weaving in meditative themes, so expect a couple contemplative questions while you are holding postures. Also I love spending time in the elements and walking my dog.
